We are looking for an exceptional IT Manager to serve as a technology strategist and trusted IT advisor to proactively manage the IT infrastructure of an enterprise client environment. This person will manage a team of IT professionals to ensure exceptional service is delivered to our client and create opportunities to stand for the team’s overall success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

In the first 30 days and ongoing:

  • Understands Infracore’s mission, core values, and guiding principles.
  • Gains clarity on Infracore’s client base, business model, products and services in detail.
  • Completes job-specific technical onboarding lab and leadership training orientation.
  • Starts building close relationship with Operations Manager and Infracore teammates via all-hands meeting, leadership development meetings, and tech talks.
  • Attends a client site and meets with the existing IT team to begin integration.

By the 90-day mark and ongoing:

  • Starts managing client’s IT department and IT infrastructure.
  • Has foundational knowledge of all department responsibilities and management systems.
  • Builds positive relationships with client’s key staff to start identifying client pain points.
  • Partners with Operations Manager to monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure, including but not limited to data is backed up and restoration, maintaining business continuity readiness, cloud-centric services, preventative maintenance items, reviewing governance and compliance requirements, reviewing budgets, etc.
  • Attends 1-on-1s with Operations Manager and all direct reports on a weekly basis.

Within the 6 to 9 month mark and ongoing:

  • Performs deep dive of client’s tech stack to get strong familiarity with all systems.
  • Conducts audit on backups and security and streamline systems.
  • Champions best practices for cyber security and infrastructure management.
  • Partners with Operations Manager, to review and negotiate vendor contracts to optimize pricing terms for client.
  • Serves as an escalation point of contact for IT technical issues for the IT team.
  • Mentors and guides employees with continuous feedback and growth, motivating the team with a culture of accountability and collaboration.

By the 12 month mark and ongoing:

  • Partners with Operations Manager and client executives to update IT budget annually, plans for future projects, and prepares the budget, time, and resources to client expectations.
  • Leads steering committee meetings with client’s key executives to maintain congruency and buy-in for active and upcoming projects and initiatives.
  • Continuously manages expectations of self and team to ensure quality output and results.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

✓ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience required
✓ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
✓ Knowledge of IT aspects of common legal compliance programs such as SOX, HIPA, CCPA and ISO preferred
✓ Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800 and CIS Top 20 preferred
✓ 2+ years of related work experience managing IT teams of 2+ required
✓ Working experience in managing Office 365 ecosystem including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, with solid understanding of security measures and ability to architect best practices and policy required
✓ Proven understanding of cyber security measures, such as multi-factor authentication, single sign-on (SSO), Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and other remote management and automation tools, SSL certificates, encryption & public key infrastructure (PKI) required
✓ Working experience managing IT infrastructures and understanding of IaaS Cloud solutions; AWS or Microsoft Azure required
✓ Strong knowledge and understanding of DNS, networking (TCP/IP) and routing required
✓ Demonstrated ability to take terminology and concepts of technology and translate that into applied technology solutions in everyday scenarios with professionalism and poise required
✓ Foundational understanding of Wi-Fi networks required
✓ Functional knowledge with Windows Server required
✓ Basic knowledge of PowerShell required
✓ Working Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, SAN, VMware/Hyper V, SharePoint, RAID required
